We are a professional home staging and residential transition company proudly serving realtors, homeowners, and families navigating important life changes.
We partner closely with real estate professionals to prepare properties for market with intention, strategy, and a strong understanding of what today’s buyers expect. From occupied consultations to full vacant staging installations, our goal is simple: help homes show beautifully and sell confidently.
We also provide thoughtful, hands-on support for clients experiencing life transitions — ensuring every move, sale, or estate shift is handled with structure, clarity, and care.

OWNER & STAGER / INTERIOR REDESIGNER
Dana Sullivan
Dana has come from a long line of entrepreneurs and began her own entrepreneurial journey in 2017 when she launched DS Designs. Despite starting off with just one box of accessories that she stored at her home and $0 in the business account, Dana forged ahead knowing she had something special that leveraged her passion for real estate and eye for interior decorating. Today, Dana has an over 5,000 square foot warehouse and is well known in the community for her home staging, interior decorating and residential transition services. She works closely with real estate agents, sellers and individuals/families looking to downsize or manage estates. Dana also owns real estate in Ontario, New Brunswick and Mexico, which has helped her to better understand the needs of her clients and the ever-changing home-staging & design landscape.
In her spare time, Dana loves to ride her bike, garden and plans to start an animal sterilization program in a small town in Mexico where she vacations and owns property.
RESIDENTIAL TRANSITION SPECIALIST
Jen
Jen has been a part of DS Designs since its inception in 2017. In the beginning, she did all things staging. Now, as our certified Residential Transition Specialist, you can find her assisting seniors with downsizing as well as keeping our warehouse organized and running smoothly. She plays a monumental role in supporting the staging aspect of the business as well. When Jen is not juggling her many hats with DS Designs, she enjoys spending time with her kids and dogs, at the beach, or tending to her garden.
LEAD HOME STAGER/INTERIOR DESIGN CONSULTANT
Alyx
Alyx brings over a decade of experience in the interior decorating industry and holds an Interior Decorating Diploma from Durham College. With a natural passion for design and an eye for detail, she loves helping transform spaces into homes that feel welcoming, functional and uniquely suited to the people who live in them. At DS Designs, Alyx brings her creativity and experience to both home staging and interior decorating.
Outside of work, Alyx enjoys travelling, hiking, kayaking and making the most of the outdoors. She also loves dancing whenever she gets the chance and spending time at home with her husband, Gavin, and their two cats, Simone and Pumba.
HOME STAGER
Vanessa
Vanessa joined DS Designs in 2023 as a certified Home Stager after relocating to the Quinte West area when her husband was stationed at CFB Trenton. Before joining the team, Vanessa worked for a staging company in Toronto. Vanessa also uses her design eye with her company, The Wreath Coach, where she specializes in designing seasonal planters, garden design, and maintenance.
Staging Consultant
Valerie
Valerie joined the DS Designs team in 2025 and brings years of experience in sales, merchandising and home staging. She became a certified home stager through Canadian Certified Staging Professionals in 2018 and now works with the team as a Stager and Staging Consultant, while also supporting clients through the downsizing process.
Valerie loves helping clients see the potential in their homes and brings a thoughtful, practical approach to every project. Her background in sales and merchandising, combined with her eye for presentation, makes staging a natural fit.
Outside of work, Valerie enjoys gardening, spending time at the beach and travelling whenever she gets the chance.
